What I've been up to the past month...

Since the start of good old 2012 I've been up to lots of different stuff. I have learned quite a bit throughout the past month and here are some examples:

Christmas in OH

The Birdsall Christmas was held in good old granville OH this year. We were only missing one kid (Josh and his wife maria got to go to Mexico with her family this year!) It was great to see everyone - even though it was short it was most definitely still sweet:)

Fun Quilted Post Cards

the quilted piece that turned in postcards

 I made these a while ago and haven't gotten around to sending them to anyone. But I was quilting for the first time with some scraps a friend gave me. I decided to divide the piece up that I had created into fun postcards. I am always on the search for good stationary and apparently am very particular about them because I have ever only made my own rather than purchasing a set. Maybe you'll be one of the lucky ones to get one of these fun post cards that I sewed:)

First couple of Prototypes at Equinox

Here are some of the prototypes that I've remembered to snap a photo of before we sent them off to the clients. Since taking the more permanent position I am now working more with the entrepreneurs that come to custom manufacture their products. So I take their models or ideas and mock up a prototype that can be produced through our manufacturing capabilities. 

Everyone I've done seem to ironically remind me of trip or a hard hike. I'm very excited at the beginning, run into some difficulties and problems that test my patience, get discouraged that I'm not going to be able to figure it out and almost give up on it - but then I somehow make it work and when its all said and done I feel a very strong sense of accomplishment and totally ready to take on the next one. Ill try to remember to take photos of more of the stuff I do at work so you guys can see what I'm up to every day.
